African Science Week 2026, Cameroon

The Pan-African Young Diplomats Forum, through its Digital Diplomacy Programme, aligns with the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences in advancing technology and innovation among African youth to drive continental development, and contribute to SDG 9, 16 and African Union Agenda 2063, to fostering innovation and technology in the “Africa We Want”.

In this spirit, PAYDF partnered with AIMS and other strategic stakeholders during the Africa Science Week 2026, themed “Harnessing Science and Innovation for Africa’s Sustainable Future.”

The event brought together young innovators Cameroon to showcase, refine, and scale solutions through the use of science, technology and mathematics to reduce the geometric increase of child harassment/kidnapping problem facing Cameroon, and by extension Africa at large.
